How do I begin to tell you how much the Veterans of Foreign War Post 4647 means to me.
i've been affiliated with the post since I was 18 years old. Its like my second home, because my father was commander at one time and this place has always supported the veterans. This is a place they can come to reminice. There are many activities for the veterans and their families. It never forgets and always remembers.

Thank you for allowing Serna Village and Quinn Cottages to participate in the Memorial Day Parade. Today we have a group of residents here to represent that every human being deserves a second chancde in life. We will be handing out flyers on Cottage Housing.

Thank you, VFW Post 4647, for your annual sponsorship of the Memorial Day parade. You always do a great job. My family has attended the parade many times over the last 18 years, sometimes as participants, sometimes as spectators. It's always fun and has created happy family memories.
